Lederjacken, schwere Motorräder, importiertes englisches Clubleben und illegale Rennen – das Leben für Motorradfahrer war Anfang der 1950er noch kaum reglementiert. Beschleunigungsrennen und Phon-Orgien standen am Anfang, auf Helme wurde verzichtet, Auspuffanlagen bei Rennen waren unnötig und jede größere Wiese war für ein Scramble gut. Es gab noch keine Radarmessungen und die Polizei war dein Freund, denn die fuhren ja bei den gleichen Veranstaltungen und Bewerben mit. „Meine Herrn, halt‘s die Goschn!“ Hans Bahmer prägte seinen Club von Anfang an mit markigen Sprüchen und strengen Regeln. Keine Frauen und kein Alkohol bei den Clubabenden, die Triumph war DAS Motorrad, alle anderen Marken, vor allem BSA waren unerwünscht. Somit blieben Auseinandersetzungen mit anderen Motorradfahrern nicht aus und wurden geradezu gesucht. Langsam kam der Triumph Club Wien in die Siegerlisten der Motorradzeitschriften, die Wilden wurden gesellschaftsfähig. Dann ging alles sehr schnell, Hans Bahmer benutzte geschickt seine Kontakte zu Politikern, Sportfunktionären und Sponsoren, Anfang der 1960er organisierte der Club selbst ein erstes Rennen. Die nächsten Jahrzehnte war der Triumph Club Wien die dominante Kraft im österreichischen Motorradsport, organisierte alle großen Rundstreckenrennen, Trial-Weltmeisterschaften, mischte bei allen Straßen- und Bergrennen sowie bei Motocross Veranstaltungen mit. Das Fernsehen und die Journalisten stellten sich bei den Clubabenden an um berichten zu dürfen – der Triumph Club Wien war jetzt ganz oben.","brand":"Triumph (UK)","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":43419835007196,"sku":"HO9377","price":49.0,"currency_code":"EUR","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0563\/7911\/3661\/files\/der-triumph-club-wien-65-jahre-motorradrennsport-buch-ho9377-1.jpg?v=1739069959"},{"product_id":"triumph-t-120-bonneville-t-100t-daytona-super-sports-tr-6-sports-trophy-t-100-s-tiger-t-150-trident","title":"Triumph T 120 Bonneville T 100T Daytona Super Sports TR 6 Sports Trophy T 100 S Tiger T 150 Trident Betriebsanleitung","description":"Bedienungsanleitung für Triumph T 120 Bonneville, T 100T Daytona Super Sports, TR 6 Sports Trophy, T 100 S Tiger und T 150 Trident, Ausgabe 1970 in deutsch, technische Daten, Wartung und Pflege, 56 Seiten, DIN A5","brand":"Triumph (UK)","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":43423367987420,"sku":"VK2107","price":19.0,"currency_code":"EUR","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0563\/7911\/3661\/files\/triumph-t-120-bonneville-t-100t-daytona-super-sports-tr-6-sports-trophy-t-100-s-tiger-t-150-trident-betriebsanleitung-buch-vk2107-1.jpg?v=1739435541"},{"product_id":"triumph-tiger-cub","title":"Triumph Tiger Cub Betriebsanleitung","description":"Bedienungsanleitung für Triumph Tiger Cub mit 200 ccm ab Motor.Nr.: 88347, technische Daten, Wartung und Pflege, Ausgabe 1964, 40 Seiten, DIN A5","brand":"Triumph (UK)","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":43423446270172,"sku":"VK2543","price":19.0,"currency_code":"EUR","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0563\/7911\/3661\/files\/triumph-tiger-cub-betriebsanleitung-buch-vk2543-1.jpg?v=1739051379"},{"product_id":"instruction-manual-triumph-motorcycles","title":"Triumph Motorcycles Instruction Manual 1957","description":"Bedieungansaleitung für Triumph Motorräder Speed Twin, Tiger 100, Thunderbird, Tiger 110, Trophy TR5 und Trophy TR6 ab Motor-Nr. 0945, Ausgabe 1957 in englisch, technische Daten, Wartung und Pflege, 180 Seiten DIN A5","brand":"Triumph (UK)","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":43423557746908,"sku":"VK2773","price":29.9,"currency_code":"EUR","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0563\/7911\/3661\/files\/triumph-motorcycles-instruction-manual-1957-buch-vk2773-1.jpg?v=1739063438"},{"product_id":"triumph-motorcycles-spare-parts-list","title":"Triumph Motorcycles Spare Parts List","description":"Ersatzteilkatalog für Triumph Motorräder 5T Speed Twin, 6T Thunderbird, T100 Tiger 100, T110 Tiger 110, TR5 Trophy, Ausgabe 1954 in englisch, die Einzelteile sind gut beschrieben und abgebildet, 132 Seiten DIN A5","brand":"Triumph (UK)","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":43423557877980,"sku":"VK2774","price":35.0,"currency_code":"EUR","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0563\/7911\/3661\/files\/triumph-motorcycles-spare-parts-list-buch-vk2774-1.jpg?v=1739063440"},{"product_id":"triumph-auf-zwei-radern","title":"Triumph auf zwei Rädern","description":"","brand":"Triumph (UK)","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":43428077895900,"sku":"AQ3401037013","price":9.0,"currency_code":"EUR","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0563\/7911\/3661\/files\/triumph-auf-zwei-radern-buch-aq3401037013.jpg?v=1739061434"},{"product_id":"cycle-world-on-triumph-1972-87","title":"Cycle World on Triumph 1972-87","description":"","brand":"Triumph (UK)","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":43428125638876,"sku":"AQ1869826590","price":69.0,"currency_code":"EUR","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0563\/7911\/3661\/files\/cycle-world-on-triumph-1972-87-buch-aq1869826590.jpg?v=1739063591"},{"product_id":"triumph-motorcycles-their-renaissance-and-the-hinckley-factory","title":"Triumph Motorcycles - Their Renaissance and the Hinckley Factory","description":"Triumph Motorcycles: Their Renaissance and the Hinckley Factory tells the remarkable story of the re-birth of one of the great names of British motorcycle history. John Tipler was given unparalelled access to the factory enabling him to show the production methods and discuss the future with both management and workforce. First published in 1997, this sought-after title has now been fully updated with details of new models, and brings the story up-to-date after a disastrous fire gutted much of the operation. Film stars such as Steve McQueen visited Meriden for their Triumphs. But on the brink of what should have been its biggest ever sales season, the BSA parent company dramatically collapsed. The Conservative government reacted, and Norton-Villiers-Triumph was created. The new owners decided to close down Meriden ... so the workers locked them out. There followed protracted political negotiations, affected all the while by national government changes, minister's attitudes, national and international economic conditions and, throughout all this, the world's continuing desire for the Triumph. As much, a study of changing sociopolitical attitudes as of an economically traumatic time for both Triumph and the country, socialist John Rosamond's unique position within the worker's co-operative makes this work a fascinating account of a story never before told from the inside. The reversal of his role from worker to chairman brought with it new responsibilities, bringing home to him the passion that employees, customers and dealers had for Triumph, and how that could keep Meriden from closing and the Bonneville in production. During all these desperate struggles, the Triumph Bonneville became the best-selling motorcycle of its class, winning the coveted Motor Cycle News Motorcycle of The Year award at the end of the seventies. Yet within just a few years of this, Meriden and the Bonnie were finally gone. All the rescue attempts, the lifesaving international orders, and the negotiations for a reprieve with the new Thatcher government are covered here in unique detail, as is the introduction of new models that Meriden hoped would attract a 'white knight'. Lavishly illustrated with never-before-seen photographs from the personal collections of the factory's workers, this inside-story of Triumph's last years at Meriden is the definitive history of the most famous of the Tony Benn worker's co-operatives.","brand":"Triumph (UK)","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":43428259266780,"sku":"AQ9781845842659","price":79.0,"currency_code":"EUR","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0563\/7911\/3661\/files\/save-the-triumph-bonneville-the-inside-story-of-the-meriden-workers-co-op-buch-aq9781845842659.jpg?v=1739064158"}],"url":"https:\/\/verwuester.net\/collections\/triumph-uk-motorrad-reparaturanleitung-werkstatthandbuch.oembed","provider":"VERWUESTER","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
